Serbia ranks 16th in the world in terms of the number of new cases of coronavirus infection in the last seven days, with 416 infected persons per one million inhabitants, according to ourworldindata.org website.
Israel is in the first position, Montenegro is in the fifth, and Kosovo in the seventh, according to the number of new cases on a seven-day level, Danas daily reports.
When it comes to deaths from the consequences of the coronavirus, the Bahamas are ranked first in the last seven days, Kosovo is in the third place, North Macedonia is in the fourth, Montenegro is in the seventh, while Serbia is below 50th position, with an average of 1.9 deaths per one million inhabitants.
According to the number of persons immunised with two doses, Serbia is below the 74th place in the world with 41.35 percent of the population immunised.
