Reduced years of service for retirement for firefighters at airports
As of this year, firefighters deployed at airports in Serbia will be entitled to reduced years of service for retirement. The amendment to the regulation governing the extension of the years of service stipulates that for the members of airport firefighting units a year of service is calculated as 15 months spent on the job. The regulation signed by Zoran Djordjevic, Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs, will enter into force on 5 December.
