Record-breaking sale of NIS’s jet fuel

NIS has achieved record-breaking sale of jet fuel in the past year – more than 187,000 tonnes of the fuel sold owing to supplying the airports in Belgrade and Nis, as well as through export and wholesale.

Furthermore, in 2018, NIS modernized the jet fuel business segment by purchasing three new specialized tank trucks for supplying Nikola Tesla Airport, which will, together with the existing tank trucks, provide regular, timely and safe supply in the long run.

„Fuel poured into airplanes must be of superior quality, primarily for safety reasons. Turnover indicators, which rise every year, are the proof of the quality of the service provided by NIS. NIS supplies almost all airlines that land at the Belgrade airport, and some of the biggest buyers are Air Serbia, Aeroflot, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Qatar Airways, said Andrey Pokoev, Director of the Jet Fuel Sale Department of NIS.
