Promenada: The biggest shopping mall in the country is opened in Novi Sad
Today, the biggest shopping mall in our country, Promenada, was opened at the corner of Bulevar oslobodjenja and Bulevar kralja Lazara Streets in Novi Sad.
The shopping mall, covering the total area of 150,000 square metres, is an investment of the company NEPI Rockcastle, an investment company dealing with commercial real estate in Central and Eastern Europe, and it is worth more than EUE 128 million. Apart from its diverse facilities, this shopping mall has brought more than 1,500 new jobs to the citizens of Vojvodina.
The unique design distinguishes Promenada in many ways from other shopping malls. It is designed to allow the entry of a lot of natural light, which provides special joy for visitors. Additionally, within Promenada’s yard area, three basketball courts are paved. What will make Promenada even more attractive and interesting to visitors are two spacious terraces, one of which overlooks the recognisable sight of Novi Sad – Petrovaradin Fortress.
The new 48,000 square metres of space designed for enjoyment and shopping contain more than 160 brands and 1,500 parking spaces, including special parking spaces for families with young children. In order to make the visit to Promenada more comfortable for families with young children, the shopping mall met their needs, in cooperation with the brand Jungle baby, by providing parents with babies with the opportunity to use a shopping cart during shopping.
