
Pancevo based “Azotara” goes bankrupt
Former industrial giant has hit its lowest point. Pancevo based Commercial Court has ruled in favour of the proposition by the Ministry of Economy and initiated bankruptcy proceedings in “HIP Azotara DOO” on Friday, September 14th. The official ruling states “excessive debts” of “Azotara” as the reason behind bankruptcy proceedings.
As Pancevo based portal 013.info reports, administrative receiver of “Azotara” is the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency. Creditors have a 120-day deadline to file compensations claims towards “Azotara.”
Commercial Court’s has scheduled the first creditors’ hearing for “Azotara” on October 22nd at 12 o’clock. Creditors’ assembly will be elected at the same time. The hearing at which creditors’ claims towards “Azotara” are to be considered is scheduled for March 18th, 2019.
