Only Air Serbia flies to Moscow, tickets are three times more expensive
Air Serbia has increased the number of flights to the Russian capital, but the tickets have significantly increased in price and instead of the previous EUR 300, which was an average cost of a ticket to Moscow, it now amounts to EUR 1,000 or even more, said Petar Vojinovic from the Tango Six portal.
As a guest on TV K1, he stated that hundreds of flights were cancelled daily and that it could be said that the historical injustice from the 1990s, when the national company JAT did not fly for three years due to sanctions, had now been corrected.
„The question now is whether we have the capacity for the significantly increased number of passengers, because Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport is small. The largest plane in the fleet Airbus A330 is used for the flights to Moscow,“Vojinovic said.
As he explained, Middle Eastern companies Emirates, Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines will take over a lot of Western European traffic, because they have huge fleets.
