New regulations might leave many entrepreneurs out of business
New urban regulations, which are to be discussed in Parliament, could leave many entrepreneurs out of business, the “Vecernje novosti” daily reports.
Right now the MPs are discussing a new version of the Law on Planning and Construction. If it is adopted without major amendments, project bureaus registered as entrepreneurs – might remain without significant jobs and revenues.
Namely, only those listed as legal entities will be able to process technical documentation for buildings and family houses in the future. However, guaranteed job will incur additional charges as well. Mandatory licencing of companies every two years is being introduced.
Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure will evaluate fulfilment of conditions for obtaining the licence. Enterprise bears the costs of licencing, and price will be listed in the very decision.
