New plant in Loznica in sight
Serbian Minister of Economy Goran Knezevic has signed an agreement today with the Chinese company Minth Automotive Europe, which foresees construction of a plant in Loznica, with 1,000 employees.
The company Mint plans to invest EUR100 million in Loznica based facility, where it will produce aluminium roof racks, vehicle covers, aluminium door frames and accumulators.
According to the Ministry of Economy, the investment will be realized in several phases.
In addition to the economy minister, the agreement has been signed by the Director of Cheerplan HK Limited, Chin Yong Huon, the Director of Minth Automotive, Ching Li Wong, and the Mayor of Loznica, Vidoje Petrovic.
