Montenegro OUTRANKS Serbia on the list of the richest countries in the world
The „Global finance“ magazine published a survey of „The poorest and richest country in the world“. As they point out in the text, some would be surprised to realize that many of the richest countries are in fact among the smallest.
According to that list, the richest countries in the world are Luxembourg, Singapore, Ireland, Qatar, Macau, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Norway, USA, and Brunei Darussalam.
The poorest are Syria, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Ukraine.
Serbia is in 72nd place.
When it comes to countries of the region, Croatia is in 53rd place, Montenegro is in 69th position, Bosnia and Herzegovina is in 88th place, and Albania is in 92nd place.
