Mali expects 7% growth: „Serbia as MAIN INITIATOR of regional development“
Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali, states that the growth rate of the gross domestic product (GDP) in the first six months of this year was 7.6 percent, and that it is expected to be seven percent by the end of this year.
At the conference Investment Potentials of Republika Srpska, in the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC), Mali stated that the value of Serbia’s GDP was expected to be EUR 52 billion by the end of 2021.
„The macroeconomic situation is completely stable, we have money in the budget, and at the moment we have RSD 257 billion and we are fully liquid,“ Mali pointed out.
According to him, Serbia has development potentials, and after years of difficult economic reforms, it has become the main initiator of development in the entire region.
