Infostan is prepping us for possible HIKE in price of heating (PHOTO)

Although the President of Serbia announced that the prices of energy sources would not go up, the citizens of Belgrade receive with their bills from the Infostan public utilities company a regular notification that the price of heating could possibly be altered according to an amended decision.

Prices of energy sources are on the rise globally, and President Aleksandar Vucic himself has pointed out several times that we, as well as the world, are facing an energy crisis, but he also announced that Serbia would be ready for this and that „no one will be freezing“.

On the first occasions, he claimed that there would be sufficient quantities of energy sources, but „the question of price remains“, hinting that prices could be adjusted.

However, Vucic’s latest promise is that „Serbian citizens do not have to worry, they will have warm homes, sufficient quantities of electricity and gas, and prices will not go up.“

However, Infostan, along with its bills for September, implied a possibility that the amounts could be altered.

Specifically, on the back of the invoice, Infostan advises its users that „a decision on changes and amendments to the decision on the prices of thermal energy is underway, and, after its adoption, it will be implemented as of November 1 this year.“

If the president is to be trusted, Infostan will opt for this decision to remain the same, since it has not been stated specifically in the letter that the prices would be altered.

Perhaps we should also keep in mind the fact that these invoices were printed before Vucic’s last announcement that it would be warm even without price adjustments.
