If he does not lose elections, Vucic will ask for another aid for young people

President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has said that 948,000 of young people have applied for the assistance of 100 euros for young people aged 16 to 29, and that the state aid will be paid on February 1.

„I will also ask that in the second half of the year, if we do not lose the elections on April 3, we once again assist the youth in our country,“ Vucic said on Pink TV.

The President pointed out that this assistance would mean a lot to young people, especially to those under the age of 20, since some of them would receive so much money for the first time.

As he said, that creates additional responsibility for young people, because they earned that money, that is, their parents did not give it to them, so they will respect it more.

The president emphasized that the public debt rate in Serbia would not exceed 56% of GDP this year, which is significantly lower than 60%, as predicted by the Maastricht criteria.

He added that Serbia would achieve all that despite an energy crisis. Vucic said that the price of petroleum was rising again, after only one attack of the Houthis on the Emirates.
