    High-speed railway is tested, test rides started

    The track recording car of the German Railways has finished testing the high-speed railway up to 200 kilometres per hour between Belgrade and Novi Sad, but the testing continues with test rides of Stadler trains, the public company Infrastruktura zeleznice Srbije announced.

    In the past month, a special German track recording car for testing high-speed railways performed more than 400 rides on various sections between Belgrade and Novi Sad, it is stated in the announcement.

    As it is specified, a significant part of those rides was realized at a speed of 200 kilometres per hour, and the tests were performed in different weather conditions, during the day and during the night. After only four days of testing, this special train of the German Railways on the Serbian railway reached a record speed of more than 200 kilometres per hour.

    During the testing, the safety of railway traffic was completely preserved, there were no traffic incidents and the testing was completed successfully and according to the plan.

    It was announced that in the upcoming period, the experts of this German company would make a report and analysis on the tests performed on the high-speed railway Belgrade – Novi Sad and deliver them to the company Infrastruktura zeleznice Srbije.
