Google replied to Ana Brnabic: Serbia not on this company’s blacklist after all

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic made a statement related to information that appeared in public and on social networks, according to which Serbia is put on a “blacklist” by the company Google.

According to statement issued by her office, Brnabic directly contacted management of the company Google, headquartered in the United States of America.

Prime Minister received firm assurances from company representatives that this is a technical, not political, financial or legal issue.

“We expect prompt solution to this technical issue and continuation of normal functioning of all services of the company Google in Serbia. We believe that the company Google will soon make a statement on the matter, the statement stipulates.

Prime Minister’s Office urges that, due to truthfulness of information provided to the general public, it is best to check such important information, as publishing unverified information damages Serbia’s public image, trust of our citizens and makes situation difficult for the business community.
