Full price book from the Serbian Parliament: Espresso RSD 14, apple juice RSD 16
It is generally known that prices of food and drinks in the restaurant of the Serbian Assembly are one of the lowest in Serbia. The complete lunch for a hundred dinars and coffee of around ten dinars has been the subject of discussion among the Serbian public for years.
As the first reform Dacic announced – AN INCREASE IN PRICES
The Chairman of the Serbian Parliament, Ivica Dacic, announced increase in prices in the parliamentary restaurant as one of the first reforms after he assumes his new position and that he will review prices in the restaurant.
He announced shortly afterwards that there would be no increase in prices, as this institution has nothing to do with prices of beverages and drinks in the parliamentary restaurant and it does determine them.
When asked whether the change in low prices in that restaurant was foreseen by the budget rebalance, Dacic answered that the prices are determined by the Directorate for Joint Affairs of the Republic Bodies.
„It is easier for them to focus attention on the Assembly,“ said Dacic, adding that restaurants in state institutions are treated as internal clubs that do not have the right to earn money. That, as he said, means that they sell food and drinks at purchase price.
And how much what costs in the restaurant one can see from the photo of a menu posted on Twitter:
