    The Serbian industry of light aircrafts (SILA) „Aero East Europe“ will commence construction of a plant in Jagodina in Match, the owner and director of this company, Milovan Matic has announced. „SILA“ airplanes have a 1,300 cubic centimetres engine, can produce one hundred horsepower, reach speed of 210 to 220 kilometres per hour, consume 12 to 18 litres of unleaded gasoline per one hour of flight, can stay in the air for five hours and starting price is EUR 55,000. The plant will be built on a plot of 1.14 hectares of publicly owned construction land, which the Town’s Assembly transferred to the investor, without a fee, via direct agreement. „The investor is obliged to construct the plant with accompanying facilities, in accordance with the type of business it conducts, occupying a total area of ​​5,000 square meters,“ the decision of the Town’s Assembly stipulates. It is also specified that the plant must be completed in two years, it should initially employ at least 50 workers from Jagodina and 100 to 150 in the next three years, and these jobs should be preserved for at least five years.
