Foundation for one of the largest tourist investments

The first phase of construction works on an Aqua Park and a spa centre in Palic has commenced with laying of the foundation stone.

Construction is jointly funded by the Provincial government, the Serbian government and the Town of Subotica.

Provincial Prime Minister Igor Mirovic has said that the investment value is more than RSD1 billion and added that works will be completed in the next two years.

„I believe that this way Palic’s tourist offer will have content that will enable development of tourism and as many tourists in this part of Vojvodina as possible,” Mirovic has said.

The Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic has stated that this is one of the biggest investments in Serbia in the field of tourism, adding that he expects its realization to enable Palic to once again become one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Serbia.

The complex, which will spread across 4.4 hectares, as announced, will include five outdoor as well as indoor swimming pools, wellness and spa facilities for relaxation and improvement of users’ health.
