Competition Protection Commission approved the concession of the airport

The Competition Protection Commission has announced that it approved the concentration of market participants created by the company VINCI Airports Serbia d.o.o. acquiring control over the operations of the company AD Aerodrom Nikola Tesla, referring to the management of the Belgrade airport, reports N1 TV.

According to the statement, the subject of business operation „consists of the concession funds, as defined in the Concession Agreement for financing, development through construction and reconstruction, maintenance and management of the infrastructure of AD Aerodrom Nikola Tesla Beograd and performing the operation of the airport operator at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade“.

The statement recalls that „VINCI Airports Serbia d.o.o. operates within the VINCI Group, which has so far not performed the activity of the airport operator nor has it operated on the market of airport services in Serbia“.

The decision will be published on the website of the Commission when the appropriate conditions are met,“ i.e. after the expiration of the deadline for appeals against the data protection conclusion,“ the statement says.
