Chinese builders of „Bird’s Nest“ interested in construction in Novi Sad

Chinese company BUCG is interested in building stadiums, sports and business centers and other facilities in Novi Sad.

This was announced on social networks by Mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, who met with the representatives of the Chinese company Beijing Urban Construction Group.

Apart from the meeting with company representatives, no other details from the meeting were communicated.

As it can be seen in the photos, at the table at the meeting, on the side where the company representatives were sitting, there was also president of Energotehnika – South Bačka and president of FC Vojvodina Dragoljub Zbiljic.

“This company, among its many successful projects, is also known for the design and construction of the first metro in China, which is really a good reference. I am glad that Novi Sad has been recognized as a place that has great potential and that it has been richer year after year for bigger and more significant projects,“Milos Vucevic wrote on his accounts.

BUCG carries out works in different parts of the world, and one of the major recognizable projects is the construction of a national stadium in Beijing for the Olympic Games, the facility known as the „Bird’s Nest“.
