China’s Shandong interested in the Belgrade-Zrenjanin highway

Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic talked with representatives of China’s Shandong about potential cooperation on the new construction project of the Belgrade-Zrenjanin highway.

“The cooperation of Serbia and China in the field of infrastructure has been going on for a long time, and all the projects that we are realizing together are being executed efficiently and can serve as an example for number of other investors in Serbia,” Mihajlovic said.

She emphasized that the priority in this phase of realization of the new project was to prepare the entire project-technical documentation and that potential models of funding the construction of the highway would also be discussed in the next period.

At the meeting, which was also attended by the Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Manchang, representatives of Shandong emphasized that they were ready to cooperate with the Serbian government in realization of that project.
