BIZLife list „30 under 30“: Milica Vuckovic, art
She was born in 1989 in Belgrade. She graduated from the Department of Applied Painting in the class of Professor Miroslav Lazovic, at the Faculty of Applied Arts, University of Belgrade, where she then completed her master studies. She is preparing work for PhD studies at the same faculty and the same department. During her studies, she attended one-year training in Bali (Indonesia) through the art program „Darmasiswa“, where she participated in various painting, drawing and sculpting colonies. Since graduation, she has had six solo exhibitions to date. Four years ago, she published a collection of short stories entitled „Roj“ (Apostorf), which she also illustrated. Since the same year, she has also been a member of the Association of Applied Arts Artists and Designers of Serbia (ULUPUDS), with the status of an independent artist. Last year she received the Best Short Story Award at the International Biber contest on the topic of reconciliation, entitled „Jedu ljudi i bez nogu“ (People with no legs also eat).
