BIZLife list „30 under 30“: Darko Mrkonja, business

Darko Mrkonja is Regional Sales Manager for the region of Northern Serbia at “Coca-Cola HBC Srbija.” He was born in 1990 in Zagreb. He finished Zrenjanin Grammar School and graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Subotica at the department of management. He gained his first business experience during the „Coke Summership“ summer internship program at “Coca-Cola HBC Srbija” in 2013. Soon he became a part of company’s Management Trainee Program “RISE” that enables young and talented graduates to start their career and become future leaders. Within the program he worked in the sector for key customers, and then he developed sales skills during field work, subsequently becoming sales supervisor in Sombor and Kraljevo. After that, he became deputy regional manager in beer category for the region of Western Serbia, and since March 2017 he was responsible for sale in the Danube Region as regional manager. Since this year’s February he is at the position of Sales Manager for the region of Northern Serbia.
