BIZLife list „30 under 30“: Danijela Veselinovic, entertainment

Danijela Veselinovic was born in 1993 in Arilje. She attended lower and secondary music school „Stevan Mokranjac“ in Kraljevo, in the class of professor Srdjan Radosavljevic, in the trumpet department. She finished her undergraduate studies at the “Academy of Arts”in Novi Sad, in the class of Professor Nenad Markovic. She attended postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of professor Igor Lazic. During the studies, she had numerous performances both solo and in various chamber ensembles, jazz and symphony orchestras, and during that time she played at significant events of the University and the Academy in Novi Sad, as well as at competitions. At the age of nine, she formed „Orchestra Danijela“ in which she plays with her brothers and colleagues. „Orchestra Danijela“ is the first official orchestra in this region that is led by a lady, which makes it very special. The orchestra was formed in February in 2003. The members of the initial ensemble were between 6 and 10 years old. Danijela got a trumpet from famous Boban Markovic in Guca, in 2003, when this virtuoso said to her: „You are a little trumpet princess.“ So far, the orchestra has performed throughout Serbia and abroad, at several festivals, competitions, festive openings, humanitarian concerts, celebrations and other events. This young girl’s success and passion is told through a short documentary „Breathing“. Other films were also made about Danijela and her orchestra: „The Girl with a trumpet“, „Danijela“, and „Princess of Guca“ produced by RT (Russia today).
