Belgrade is only more expensive than Vilnius
On the list of the cheapest cities in Europe published by the magazine Post Office Travel, Belgrade dropped to the second place, from last year’s first, but it remains at the top of the list of destinations offering the best value for money.
The only difference in the research of this British magazine is the information that since autumn Belgrade increased in price by two percent, but this year, it is still on many lists of the most favourable European destinations that should be visited this spring.
According to the estimate of the Post Office Travel, which makes the lists in autumn and spring, a two-day stay in a three-star hotel in Belgrade, with food, wine, drinks, transportation and city transport tickets costs tourists in March GBP 151, while Vilnius is a little cheaper – GDP 147.
Last autumn, Belgrade was ranked first with GBP 148 (just over EUR 150).
