Another country opens its borders for the citizens of Serbia
Austria has included Serbia on the list of safe countries in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, which will enable easier travelling for Serbian citizens to that country.
From tomorrow, when the new decree of the Austrian Ministry of Health enters into force, the citizens of Serbia can travel to Austria more easily.
In addition to Serbia, the United States, North Macedonia, Albania, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam have been added to the list of safe countries.
The citizens of these countries will be able to enter Austria with a vaccination certificate or a negative test, i.e. a medical test proving recovery from covid-19 infection. Austria is thus implementing the decision of the EU ambassadors from last week.
Since the introduction of restrictive measures, the entry of Serbian citizens for tourist purposes has been prevented at the borders in Austria.
Only those who have residence permits or special reasons could enter the country, at first only with a negative PCR test and a mandatory ten-day quarantine, and as of recently without quarantine if they were vaccinated.
