Agreed: Immunization without scheduling in ALL SERBIAN TOWNS

Citizens will be able to get vaccinated against the coronavirus without prior notification in all towns and municipalities in Serbia, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Health Mirsad Djerlek stated.

Djerlek added that immunization points where appointment is not necessary are expected to be up and running as of Thursday.

Djerlek stated with Tanjug that a new immunization strategy had been agreed at a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Health and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic’s cabinet, and that it had been decided to enable immunization without prior notification in all places in Serbia, not in 50 towns, as it was originally announced.

„We have decided not to differentiate between towns and to open immunization points that do not require registration in all places where there is interest,“ said Djerlek, who heads the National Coordination Team for Immunization against the COVID-19.

He emphasized that the immunization of citizens who apply through the eUprava portal or the Viber application will be carried out simultaneously.

„Those who apply will be able to choose the vaccine, and we will try to provide all vaccines even for unscheduled citizens, but it depends on whether there will be enough of those vaccines that they opt for,“ said Djerlek.
