A new factory in Zrenjanin as of today
The GLM Group, which is engaged in the production of exhaust systems for the car industry, is opening a factory today in Zrenjanin. The products are intended mostly for the export to Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.
In the first phase, about 150 workers are expected to be employed. As the business expands, the plants will also expand and the number of employees will reach 350, director of the GLM factory, Radivoje Poljanac, told RTS.
The value of the investment so far is five million euros, said Poljanac, announcing that it will soon pass a two-digit sum of ten million euros.
Poljanac pointed out that GLM was supplying products for Mercedes, BMV, Porsche, Maserati, Ferrari, Audi.
The factory, as he added, needs mechanical and electrical engineers, as well as workers of the metal profession.
So far, they have not had a problem finding high-quality workforce, and more than 250 people apply for jobs every day, says Poljanac.
