A deficit of RSD23 million is foreseen in 2019

The Serbian government has adopted a Draft Law on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2019, which foresees a deficit of RSD23 million, as well as a set of accompanying laws.

The proposed law on the budget, which entered parliamentary proceedings, foresees total profit and revenues for the next year in the amount of RSD1,246.2 billion, while expenditures amount to RSD1,269 billion.

According to statement from the session of the Serbian government, the budget is developmental, realistic and balanced, aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and investments in capital projects, as well as encouraging further growth of the economy.
