Winning logo and name of the new high-speed train selected (PHOTO)
The winner of the award at the „Let the inspiration drive you“ competition, aimed at finding the logo and name of the new high-speed train on Serbian railways, was presented today, and the logo is the profile of the falcon in the colours of the Serbian flag, while the name of the trains is „Soko“ (Falcon).
As Srbijavoz said earlier, almost 3,500 applications were submitted at the address of the organizer of the competition for the selection of the name and visual identity of the high-speed trains of Serbia, and the first prize for both the name and the logo went to designer Andrija Arsic, the media report.
These trains will operate on the renewed Belgrade – Novi Sad railway, which, according to earlier announcements, should be opened this week.
As previously announced, trains will travel at a speed of up to 200 km/h, so the travel time from Novi Sad to Belgrade will be half an hour.
