Linglong offering 800 jobs: Workers to travel to China for training – „VERY COMPETITIVE“ salaries

The company Linglong Tire and the National Employment Service organized a promotion of that Chinese company and an advertisement that featured more than 800 jobs in Zrenjanin, and those interested could submit their CVs.

The Manager of Human Resources Department at the Zrenjanin project, Zhang Shuang said that Linglong plans to employ 200 people next year, for whom training will first be organized in China.

As he stated, plans for the following period will be determined based on dynamics of plant construction.

„The plan for employment of 800 people does not only encompass the first phase of employment, but employment within the next and coming years,“ Zhang Shuang told reporters.

The company, as he announced, initially plans to hire people in key positions, such as electrical and mechanical engineers, electrical engineering technicians, maintenance electricians and other maintenance-related positions.

Employee training will be organized for six to 12 months, while commencement of production in Zrenjanin is expected at the end of the following year.

„We want to prepare employees for work in the plant, which is why we will organize a training that will begin in January or February next year,“ he clarified.

When asked how much the employees will be paid, he said that for now it can be said that „the company will do its best to offer highly competitive salaries for employees“. The promotion was held in the large hall of Zrenjanin based Cultural Centre, which has 500 seats and almost all seats were filled.

The company Shandong Linglong is in business of tire production, and the cornerstone of Zrenjanin based plant was laid in March this year. The plan is for facility to spread across 500,000 square metres and to employ 1,200 people.
