Belgrade THE MOST POLLUTED capital of Europe, serious health issues possible
On Tuesday, Belgrade was the capital with the most polluted air in Europe. Real-time measurements showed that, at 11 am, air pollution in Belgrade was 182 micrograms of suspended particles per cubic meter of air. The only more polluted city in Europe is Brescia, Italy, where enormous 615 micrograms of particles per cubic meter were measured. The level of pollution registered in Belgrade is categorized as unhealthy, which means that all the residents can experience health issues, while more sensitive people can suffer serious health symptoms.
