Global prices are falling, yet our prices are rising

Although crude oil has become cheaper in the past 30 days on the world stock markets, and dinar is still on a good level, fuel prices on our petrol stations have increased by a few percent instead of going downwards.

Thus on Friday, compared to a month ago, the price of 95-octane gasoline was higher by RSD1.2 to RSD2 per litre (depending not only on the company but on petrol station as well), the Novosti daily reports.

This fuel sold was sold between RSD154.2 to RSD154.9 per litre at petrol stations in Belgrade on Friday, while at some petrol stations along the highway it was even more expensive.

The price of the Euro-diesel increased but somewhat less. On average by RSD1 to RSD1.5, so this fuel on Friday was sold at a price of RSD163.4 to RSD163.9 per litre.

Prices of fuels enriched with additives or those with higher octane rating were also higher by RSD1 on Friday, when compared to the beginning of July.

Price of car-gas (LPG) also increased on certain petrol stations, up to RSD3.5, thus it was sold for RSD78 on Friday.

Crude oil decreased by several dollars a barrel on stock markets over the past month, thus it went from US$73.94 at the beginning of July to US$71.68 at the beginning of August.
