Braggin’ Mali: More Construction Sites than Construction Workers

The mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali said today that the number of the capital’s unemployed is 85,441, which is almost 2,000 less than in February, adding that Belgrade could soon face a shortage of construction workers.

“We started the investment cycle, fought for every job, every construction site and every factory and now, all that is confirmed by statistics. In conversations with representatives of construction companies, we came to the conclusion that we might soon face a shortage of construction workers, which was inconceivable in Serbia until now,” he said.
