12,000 work permits for foreigners since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of 2018, the National Employment Service (NES) has issued 11,741 work permits to foreigners in Serbia, three quarters of whom are employed by the employers in Belgrade, and foreigners mostly have secondary education degrees.

As Tanjug was told by the NES, foreign workers also find jobs in Serbia with employers in Novi Sad, Nis, Sremska Mitrovica and Pancevo, and the largest number of work permits was issued to the citizens of China, Russia, Turkey, Macedonia, Italy and Montenegro.
