Who was the first volunteer for the Chinese vaccine?
The first vaccine against coronavirus from the Chinese manufacturer Sinopharm was received this morning by Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar.
Today, together with him, Provincial Secretary for Health Zoran Gojkovic was also vaccinated with the Chinese vaccine.
After the vaccination, Loncar said that the Chinese vaccine was the third registered and that it was a vaccine of very high quality and safety.
„It did not hurt, in case you were wondering, I believe that people are wondering„, said Loncar.
The President of Serbia will receive the same Chinese vaccine over the weekend, and obviously he will not be the first person to receive the Sinopharm vaccine.
As a reminder, the president announced that he would be the first person to receive any coronavirus vaccine to arrive in Serbia first. That did not happen, as the first vaccine was received by Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic. She said the president would most likely receive the vaccine from the Chinese manufacturer Sinopharm, followed by Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar, who would receive the same vaccine.
