Three euros saved for COFFEE at seaside: ROAD TOLL from Trebinje to Meljine abolished

Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokapic, and President of Republika Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanovic, have met at the toll ramp on the road Meljine – Petijevici, thus making the abolition of the road toll on that part of the road official.

As the announcement from the Prime Minister’s Office recalls, at the session last Thursday, the Government adopted the information on the amicable termination of the Agreement on Construction, Functioning and Transfer (BOT) of the Meljine-Petijevici road, and the Agreement on Termination was signed last Friday by Minister of Finance and Social Welfare Milojko Spajic, the Municipality of Herceg Novi and investor Universal Monte.

Everyone who comes to the Montenegrin coast along this road will not pay road toll, said Krivokapic, adding that it was an important message at this time when we should take care of everything being simple and cheap.

Simply, as he said, crowds would be reduced, especially in the tourist season, and cheap, as he said, „means that instead of road toll, you will be able to drink a cup of coffee in the beautiful ambience of the Herceg Novi Riviera“.
