The Museum of Aviation is being shut down
The Aviation Museum will be shut down, and the rights, obligations, property and archives of that institution will be taken over by the Ministry of Defence of Serbia, the Politika daily reports.
The daily refers to the decision of the Government of Serbia to abolish this museum because „the needs for the operation of the institution can be met in a more rational and efficient manner“.
„The Aviation Museum will adopt a financial report, that is, a balance sheet on 15 March 2019 and in accordance with the possibilities, it will settle the existing obligations towards suppliers, it will collect the receivables from creditors, perform the transfer of the remaining liquid financial assets to the account of the Ministry of Defense,“ it is stated in the government’s decision.
