The first kilometre of high-speed rail in Serbia has been laid at the section between Stara Pazova and Indjija, via which trains will travel 200 kilometres per hour.
Russian state-owned company “RZD International” has announced that laying of the track superstructure has commenced on the seven kilometres long section between Stara Pazova and Indjija. Works on that section have commenced back in March of this year.
The cleaning of the terrain has already been carried out, the access roads for construction machinery have been built and old tracks and elements of the contact network have been dismantled.
