The British company opened a plant in Leskovac

The British company „Delphi“ has opened the „Aptiv Packard“ plant in Leskovac today, where it will produce electrical installations for the car industry and should employ around 2,000 people by the end of 2020.

EUR25 million was invested in the plant complex that spreads across 30,000 square metres in the Green Zone location, and the Town of Leskovac secured six hectares for the English company for this investment.

Over 400 workers have been employed at the plant so far, and another 700 are planned to be employed by the end of this year.

The company „Delphi“ has over 147,000 workers in plants in 45 countries, among which is the plant in Novi Sad, opened back in 2015 and currently employing around 3,000 people.
