Taken over by the state – the number of passengers at Constantine the Great drops
In the first trimester of this year, the airport Constantine the Great served 75,000 passengers, which is 10,000 fewer compared to the same period last year, according to the data published on the website of JP Aerodrom Nis.
In the first three months of this year, there were 305 airplanes at the airport, and last year there were 320.
In the first quarter of this year, the airport in Nis was a destination for seven cargo airplanes that transported 99 tons of goods, while last year 16 airplanes with 258 tons of goods were served.
In August last year, the state took over the founder’s rights in the public airport service company Aerodrom Nis, thus transferring the management of the airport in Nis to the state.
