Series of incidents on Belgrade streets – 25 new buses recalled (VIDEO)

After a series ofincidents on the streets in Belgrade, the Arriva Litas company has withdrawnfrom traffic 25 almost completely new Turkish buses. As reported by Prva TV,the buses of the Turkish manufacturer will be recalled until the cause that ledto a traffic accident at Zvezdara a few weeks ago is discovered. On thatoccasion, the bus got uncontrolled acceleration and slammed into a nearbyhouse. Additionally, confirmation is requested that the vehicles and thebuilt-in components are completely safe, said the company that is the basis ofa consortium of private transportation companies in Belgrade. The contingent of25 new Temsa buses arrived in Arriva’s fleet in October last year, but in justa few months there was an entire series of serious incidents.
