    Serbian government IS SATISFIED with investments in the third quarter

    In the third quarter of 2021, the dynamics of realization of all the projects launched in industrial and economic areas is going according to plan and the most important indicators are satisfactory, it was announced after the session of the Council for Coordination of Activities and Measures for Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Growth.

    The statement says that Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, who chaired the session, pointed out that it was necessary to continue with such trends, noting that „the volume of investments in the economy has significantly increased compared to the first two quarters“.

    Brnabic also stated that „a growth of 13.4 percent was recorded in the second quarter, while for the whole year, the growth is expected to be over 6.5 percent.“

    It was stated at the session that, when it came to the industry, „the recovery is certain and visible after the slower growth during May and June,“ and that „the growth of services is recorded“, while, as stated, „the increase in inflation should not be concerning, because it is caused by the growth of the prices of liquid fuel and fuel oil at the global level“.

    The statement also says that it was concluded at the meeting that in the field of infrastructure and health „fieldwork is in full swing and going as planned“, an that  „environmental projects are among the priorities, and one of them is the construction of a total of eight regional recycling centers“.

    According to the statement, „the most important among them is the regional recycling center Kolubara – Kalenic, whose construction is expected to start at the beginning of next year as planned.“
