Serbia to get a new BRIDGE across the SAVA RIVER, on a new highway
The Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure has issued a construction permit for preparatory works on the construction of a bridge over the Sava River near Sabac. The bridge in total length of 1.3 kilometres is the largest structure on the route of the future highway Ruma-Sabac, and other works are expected soon as well. The length of the future highway Ruma-Sabac is 21 kilometres, and 55 kilometres is the length of the „high-speed route“ Sabac-Loznica, in continuation of that highway. The construction, according to a commercial agreement signed with Azerbaijan’s company „Azvirt“ this week, is expected to cost EUR 467.5 million.
