President does not give up: Construction of the NATIONAL STADIUM this year
President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has announced that the construction of the National Stadium in Surcin would begin this year.
„The construction of the National Stadium will be an extraordinary development project for the entire municipality of Surcin, but also for entire Belgrade and Serbia. This year, we are starting to build the National Stadium and it will be magnificent, for the most part made of wood and with a lot of greenery. It will be one of the most modern European stadiums,“ said Vucic.
The president said that there would be a new road Novi Beograd – Surcin nearby, which would be 7.9 kilometres long, and which would shorten the exit to Milos the Great Motorway by 10 to 12 kilometres, rather than going to the motorway through the Dobanovac loop.
