Ministers ARGUE: Mihajlovic „bickers“ with Momirovic, he duly retaliated

Minister of Mining and Energy, Zorana Mihajlovic, says that she is very proud of the hundreds of kilometres of highways that were built while she was the head of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, and that now some infrastructure projects are late.

„Projects in traffic and infrastructure have continued and that is good. Maybe they can go a little better. Some things are late,“ she told TV K1.

When asked why they were late, she said that everything would have been finished earlier if she had been the minister.

Reacting to this criticism, Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Tomislav Momirovic, said that Zorana Mihajlovic’s statement contained several systemic illogicalities.

The last time I passed by her office, I did not notice the Prime Minister or the President of the Republic written on a board, so I wonder with what authority or idea she is questioning the deadlines and dynamics set primarily by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and me as the competent minister,“ Momirovic told reporters in Svilajnac.

He added that many projects were currently underway and that there were no delays in any of them.

„Dear colleague is in charge of the Ministry of Energy for the second time, therefore, she is repeating a year, and I can only tell her what I told her at the Government session, that she should urgently bring her department in order because if she does not do so, someone will have to do it for her. And regarding everything else, I think that the right place and time is a government session,“ said Momirovic.
