Krkobabic: DIASPORA is interested in BUYING empty houses

Minister of Rural Welfare, Milan Krkobabic, has said that Serbian citizens abroad have expressed their readiness to form foundations and get involved in the purchase of empty rural houses in Serbia.

The ministry said that they intended to use those houses, and they were ready to give them to young people who would like to live in them permanently.

Krkobabic called on wealthy individuals, owners of successful companies, to show a high degree of social corporate responsibility and join the campaign and also buy some rural houses that would be given for use to those who were interested in living in them.

„Either we will save the villages, or Serbia’s fate will be doomed. We must all be aware that this is a patriotic task and be ready to act united,“ Krkobabic said on RTS TV.
