„Kragujevac is the first town where we are shutting down coal-fired boilers“

The Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated that Kragujevac will be the first town in Serbia where oil and coal-fired boiler rooms will be shut down, and will be connected to gas instead.

Brnabic said this would significantly reduce air pollution and pointed out that this gas connection across the network enables the construction of the „Balkan Stream“ gas pipeline.

She also announced that the old fuel oil and coal-fired boiler rooms will be replaced in many towms in Serbia by the end of this Government’s mandate.
