    Jubmes Bank becomes Alta Bank

The Board of Directors of JUBMES Bank has proposed that the financial institution should change its name to ALTA Bank, according to a proposal published on the website of the Belgrade Stock Exchange. The decision to change the name should be adopted at an extraordinary session of the JUBMES Assembly scheduled for 30 January, during which decisions will be made on amendments to the bank’s statute and fees for executives. According to the data available in the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House, the single biggest shareholder of JUBMES Bank is Alta Pay Group, which secured its stake last year by buying shares from the Republic of Serbia. About 273,000 of the 288,000 shares issued by JUBMES carry voting rights. The second largest shareholder in the bank is the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Before entering the banking service market, Alta Pay was an exchange office and a payment operations company.
