Ivanka Popovic is the new Rector of the University of Belgrade
At a session of the Council of the University of Belgrade, former Vice-Rector of the University of Belgrade, Ivanka Popovic, has been appointed as the Rector. Presenting her program, Popovic stated that her goals included greater transparency in the work of the University of Belgrade, a review of the Bologna process and doubling the number of foreign students within five years.
Popovic was the Vice-Rector for business operation and personnel development and she is a professor of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy. She was the only candidate for the rector position, and she will take office in October, at the beginning of the new academic year.
