INVASION successful: Montenegro UNDER SIEGE of tourists
Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegrin Government, Dritan Abazovic, stated that the coast is „under siege“ by visitors from all sides, thus the invasion was successful.
„Yesterday and today, Montenegro has been under a total siege of visitors who are coming to us from all sides. There are endless lines of vehicles at border crossings, coastal roads, certain tunnels and intersections, and airports are recording record-breaking numbers,“ Abazovic posted on Twitter.
He announced that there is a lack of accommodation in cities like Budva and Ulcinj.
„This is, to rely on my intuition once again, „nothing“ compared to what awaits us from August 1st, when the holidays will begin in most countries of the region, but also in some somewhat further destinations. Our estimates that 2021 will be similar to the 2019 season in terms of tourism were described as a laughingstock, claiming that we cannot exceed 40 or 50 percent of the record-breaking 2019. However, such voices soon fell silent, and now the only question is – how long will this last. “
He invited all citizens to be inoculated and to respect the measures, in order to continue the tourist ascend of Montenegro.
